The Primary 4 students had an exhilarating and eye‑opening experience at the Africa Centre during the English Day Camp. The day began with an engaging introduction to African history and culture, setting the stage for meaningful learning. Students then immersed themselves in hands‑on activities—playing the African drum and creating vibrant postcards—that brought the culture to life. A highlight was the delicious and unique African meal, which gave them a taste of authentic flavors and traditions. Afterwards, the journey continued to the historic Chungking Mansions, where students conducted interviews with shop owners and customers, gaining valuable insights into multicultural communication and real‑world English use. Returning to the Africa Centre, the excitement carried on with energetic African dances and lively games that filled the venue with laughter and rhythm. Looking at the students’ faces—beaming with joy, curiosity, and enthusiasm—it was clear that the camp was not only informative but also unforgettable. It was truly a day of cultural immersion, language learning, and shared celebration—an experience that will remain a cherished memory for our P4 students.
